Natural Neighbours helps people transform the places they live so that they buzz, bloom and sing with wildlife.
Our app and events bring neighbours together to make the health benefits of nature a part of daily life – no matter where you live, work, learn or play.
Make natural connections

Spending time in green spaces reduces mental illness, boosts immunity, and lowers the risk of cardiovascular disease. But regularly engaging with nature does even more for our wellbeing, including making us feel happier and calmer. In fact, living in healthy environments where we can regularly experience nature in this way is now regarded as so important that experts say it should be a human right.
Millions of people living in towns and cities are denied this right, with those in the most deprived areas being the worst affected. But by collaborating across communities we can create the conditions that much-loved creatures like hedgehogs and bumblebees need to thrive.
Every little helps – the smallest of spaces, plant pots and window boxes, can grow flowers that attract pollinators, including butterflies and moths, in turn providing essential food for bats and birds.
