We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) and aim to achieve a goal of WCAG 2.1 AA accessible as our target for this website. What we do to make this website accessible:

• Use appropriate alternative text on images
• Ensure colour contrast is sufficient to ensure text is easy to read
• Caption or provide transcripts for videos and audio clips
• Provide alternative accessible versions of interactive content that relies on javascript or flash
• Ensure that the text on pages can be enlarged using browser controls

Website content
Some of our PDFs and Word documents may not meet accessibility standards. For example, they may not be structured in a way that makes them accessible to a screen reader. This fails WCAG 2.1 success criterion. This is a problem with PDF and Word documents and we are aware of this and are working to improve this in future. Our website includes links to other sites that we think may be helpful to you. We try to ensure that those websites are accessible and meet WCAG standards but we have no control over the accessibility of those websites. If you find any of the content challenging to read or understand, please contact the relevant organisation.
